Island Coast BNI is part of the largest business networking organization in the world. Our networking membership meetings are held weekly in Cape Coral Florida. Our chapter consists of local business owners who through networking, work together to share ideas, contacts and most importantly, business referrals.
Island Coast BNI in 1 year has closed over $650,000 in business passed among all the members. This means that each seat is worth over $21,000 in business. While not every member makes that amount of money, each member does have the opportunity to increase their business by active participation.
This networking opportunity is based on the concept of "Givers Gain". Each member, through referrals helps their fellow members gain business and in return your fellow members help you gain business. When you actively participate you have the opportunity to know your fellow members and they have the opportunity to know you. People do business with those they know, like and trust and active participation in the opportunities afforded you will serve you in growing your business.
Only one person from each professional specialty is accepted into this chapter. You do not have to be concerned with others in your professional specialty also being in the chapter. For this reason before visiting a meeting please contact us to ensure that your professional specialty is not already represented.
Our weekly meetings last for 90 minutes. Members need to arrive on time and stay for the entire meeting. Attendance is critical. If you cannot attend a meeting, you may send a substitute. The reason for this is that you are building a relationship with your fellow members. If you are not there on a regular basis this compromises your credibility. You are making a commitment to your fellow members by attending regularly, arriving on time and staying for the entire meeting. You are letting your fellow members know that you are there to help them so that you too can also be helped.
There is an initial application fee, annual membership dues, and a monthly venue fee. You are financially investing and committing to the growth of your business.
When you apply to participate in our chapter, your application will be reviewed by our Membership Committee. They will do a reference check, background check and will also interview you. After which you will be notified of your status before the next meeting.
There are many benefits to membership in Island Coast BNI. You will have the opportunity to:
